Bella Vista Apartments consists of 230, Section 8 federally subsidized apartments (subject to income guidelines) situated in a high-rise elevator building located in Union City, New Jersey.  The residents in our community are limited to senior citizens (heads of household 62 years or older), legally handicapped or disabled persons and is made up of both studio and one-bedroom apartments.  Laundry facilities are on-site and each apartment has a stove, refrigerator, central air conditioning and an emergency pull cord. 

The building has an intercom system linked to the telephone to allow visitors in as well as an on-site concierge that is there 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.  Activities for the residents include exercise classes, blood pressure and glucose checks and social events for each holiday.  As an added benefit, Union City provides transportation to local shopping venues weekly.
